UoB student James Laister-Smith was awarded an Undergraduate Research Scholarship to work with Dr Michele Aaron over the summer of 2016 to build a set of resources for Screening Rights.  The fruits of his labour are available below. Thank you Jamie for all your hard work.

Film Festivals:  An annotated list of festivals around the globe that are focussed on Social Justice/Human Rights issues. Though not exhaustive, this charts an illuminating journey through the geographic, and historical, range of these events. Most importantly, emphasis has been placed on the festivals’ agendas with regard to social change, ethics and local or national concerns. Their reach has also been explored.

Online Hubs: With a similar emphasis to the description of film festivals, this list provides a sense of some of the online resources available for filmmakers and Social Justice campaigns that use film.
